Harris Hill Permanent Recruitment

Our Permanent Recruitment Division has a strong track record recruiting a wide range of roles into the charity and not-for-profit sectors. Our team of experienced consultants have considerable recruitment knowledge and experience of working with charities and public and private sector organisations. We work closely with our Temporary and Executive Divisions to share key industry knowledge so that we always deliver the best results.

Our Approach

Briefing and Preparation

When we receive your vacancy, we will allocate a dedicated account manager in order to provide consistency in service delivery and an in-depth understanding of your needs. You and your Consultant will then have an extended conversation - either on the phone or in person - in order for them to gain a thorough appreciation of the role and person specification. This conversation is also an opportunity to agree a clear timeframe and process, and for our terms and conditions to be discussed and agreed.

Database Search

Our database is constantly being updated with new talent and we will conduct a thorough search, seeking candidates from charity, public and private sectors with the skills, experience and availability that you require. All candidates on our database have key skills allocated which indicate the areas of work they are experienced in and the type of work they are seeking.

Advertising and Social Media

Harris Hill invests a significant amount of money every year on advertising, social media, web and mobile presence, SEO and Research and is the largest advertiser of charity jobs within the UK sector. Our approach is all encompassing and we work closely with different media groups in order to initiate new ways of attracting the best candidates.

Candidate Assessment and Shortlist

This combined approach results in a robust shortlist of committed, interested and qualified candidates for your assessment. Only those with whom we have carried out preliminary interviews, have been assessed against the person specification and are interested in the position will be put forward for your consideration.

Appointment and Aftercare

We will arrange final interviews with your agreed shortlist and brief the candidates involved in the process. Once you have made a decision on the preferred candidate, we can deal with the negotiation and offer of appointment and will manage the feedback process for unsuccessful candidates.

The success of our placements and the relationships that we develop with our clients and candidates are very important to us, and for this reason we offer continued support and assistance to both parties from offer stage to candidate start date.
