Head of Communications

A health charity based in central London are seeking to employ a Head of Communications on a 3.5 days p/w contract for 6-12 months. This role would focus on providing leadership within the communications team.

The main responsibilities in this position would include:
-Providing support in devising and implementing integrated strategies that will ensure success.
-Provide a strategic overview and positioning across our charitable services
-To co-ordinate planning, drafting evaluation and implementation of an integrated communications strategy to support the development and implementation of the wide organisational strategy.
-Review and evaluate the impact of the current communications and related marketing activity.

To be put forward for this role you must meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrable and extensive record of achievement at senior manager level in the charity/public sector.
-Proven track record in development and implementing communications policy.
-Evidence of building and managing relationships with the press and policy makers.
-Ability to work independently at a senior level
-Incredible interpersonal skills
