Press and Digital Officer

A palliative care charity is looking for a Press and Digital Officer to join their team in South London/ Surrey.


Key Responsibilities will include:


-Planning, developing and implementing PR activities in support of the overall marketing and communications strategy

-Working with and liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople

-Liaising with, and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations

-Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media

-Collating and analysing media coverage and digital reach

-Writing and editing in-house and external newsletters and supporting e-campaigns

-Case study development and promotion

-Keeping the website current and up to date

-Utilising digital media to support PR campaigns


In Order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:


-Experience of creative writing

-Excellent press release writing skills

-Experience of email marketing

-Knowledge and experience of social media platforms

-CMS experience

-Experience of using analytical tools

-Experience of media and press relations
