Community & Challenge Events Fundraiser

Harris Hill are working with inspiring homelessness charity in south west London who are looking for a Community and Events Fundraising Officer to generate and grow income from community sources.

Key responsibilities will include:
Develop and deliver a community and challenge events fundraising strategy
Build relationships and maximise opportunities for increased engagement and income generation through
Work with the communications team to create marketing materials to recruit event participants
Manage and motivate volunteers
Working to income and expenditure budgets
Deliver engaging presentations on the work of the charity across the area
Building relationships with local groups including schools, corporates and groups

In order to apply you should have the following:
Previous experience of community or challenge event fundraising
A track record of developing relationships with volunteers, community supporters and encouraging their fundraising efforts through top quality stewardship
Be ambitious, self-motivated and adaptable to make the most of this exciting opportunity
Be flexible work evening and weekends as required
