Bid Writer

A great opportunity has arisen for a Bid Writer for a mental health related charity in order to support business development team on writing of statutory funding tenders and proposals. This will be a temporary (3 month contract) based in London.


Key Responsibilities will include:

Work closely with business development managers and operational colleagues to ensure high quality, innovative submissions are delivered to deadline
Complete research (internal / external) to complete tender submission
Proofread / edit tenders written by other team members
Ensure all aspects of diversity and inclusion are adhered to across all business development work and practice.
Actively promote culture of co-production and the principles of recovery across business development work
Responsible for managing own risk and that which related to the work across the business development team.
Undertake such tasks as deemed appropriate within the post holder"s competence as required by the Head of Business Development
Contribute to organisational development and management projects as appropriate

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Bid writing experience
Sound knowledge of local authority and NHS PQQ and ITT processes
Experience of health and social care sector would be preferred, ideally mental health or substance use
Track record of writing successful tenders
Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities on time
Flexible approach to working hours
