Community and Events Fundraising Manager - North E

We are excited to be working with a fantastic health charity to find an experience Community and Events Fundraising Manager for their North East region. You will be managing the team to grow the community and volunteer relationships, as well as income though events and community activities and fundraising.
Main duties and responsibilities:
-Manage and support the Community & Events team, dealing with training, hiring, and supervision
- to create a community and events fundraising plan, ensuring that income targets are achieved
-To build and new, and maintain existing relationships with contacts and supporters within the region, who are supporting via fundraising events/activities.
-Organising and delivering a programme of fundraising events ensuring all events are planned in advance
-To develop a portfolio of community fundraising activity to increase income and support
-To ensure the "Relationship Database” is up to date used correctly throughout your team
-To work with other teams including being involved with marketing, social media and other communications, to maximise opportunities to promote your community and event fundraising

To apply for this role you must have:
-Educated to GCSE "A” level or equivalent or relevant demonstrable industry experience
- Experience of development, implementation and delivery of a fundraising plan and developing successful fundraising events and community activity
-Experience of stewardship for all supporters, as well as managing and training volunteers
-experience managing staff and working towards income targets
- strong written and verbal communications skills, including using various mediums eg social media, presentations, with the ability to influence and persuade people
- Attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines

Full driving license needed as this role involves travel, and a willingness to work flexibly (eg occasional evenings and weekends)
