Programme Evaluation Officer

A national charity are looking for a Programme Evaluation Officer to support a big Charity Partnership team to effectively monitor and evaluate partnership programmes, provide meaningful insight and analysis, report against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and produce evidence of outcomes that demonstrate impact and enable delivery partners to operate successfully beyond the partnership's existence.

This is a fixed term contract until January 2018.

Key Responsibilities:
-Gather and analyse quantitative and qualitative data and information from locally delivered partnership funded prevention programmes.
-Manage and update the programme dashboard, and produce regular KPI and narrative monitoring reports for programme managers and senior stakeholders.
-Work with the Digital Content team to perform ongoing evaluation of all partnership digital activity
-Organise and facilitate focus groups in Engage and Motivate areas around the UK to gather feedback, compare delivery processes, and produce reports on lessons learned
-Shape reports to meet the needs of partnership stakeholders
-Attend Partnership events across the UK and work with the Marketing and Communications team to create event summary reports for dissemination
-Work with delivery partners to identify case studies highlighting behaviour change in programme participants.
-Identify opportunities to develop and submit abstracts to industry events and conferences and work with the Marketing and Communications team to produce posters, and present at conferences.
-Review existing evaluation plan and identify best way to ensure programme outcomes and learnings are communicated to all stakeholders
-Participate in the evaluation of marketing and communications activity designed to promote the National Charity Partnership and its prevention programmes.

Skills and Experience required:
-Proven working experience of data analysis and report production
-Experience of quantitative and qualitative analysis
-Experience of using Reporting and Analytics software to deliver insight; knowledge of SPSS, Minitab, or similar
-Experience of organising and facilitating focus groups and analysing transcripts
-Strong experience of working with stakeholders to understand and
develop business requirements
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
-Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing large datasets
-Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
