Senior Research and Supporter Experience Manager

A charity are looking for a Senior Prospect Research and Supporter Experience Manager to lead a high performing team in successful prospect identification and management with a clear strategy that focuses on sourcing prospects with capacity to give significant donations to the charity.

You will also lead on developing overarching supporter experience strategies to ensure the Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships team engage, recognise, thank and demonstrate impact in the most inspiring ways.

You will develop innovative and data driven approaches for both prospect research and donor development to ensure the delivery of world class supporter experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
-Develop a comprehensive prospect management strategy and lead on implementing and embedding plans
-Develop a prospect acquisition strategy and assess the effectiveness of different acquisition techniques
-Work closely with fundraisers to develop and maintain a prospect pipelines and deliver high quality prospect research
-Develop clear and thorough reports that analyse; data and insight, pipeline progress, acquisition success and performance, and KPI and target performance.
-Provide actionable insight, evaluations and recommendations based on robust data and insight to a range of audiences, including senior leaders
-Line management of the Prospect Research Manager and a Case for Support Writer
Working closely with the legal counsel and the Fundraising Compliance team provide expert knowledge, support and guidance on data protection and consent
-Drive the development and planning of overarching donor stewardship and engagement strategies for both Philanthropy and Corporate partnerships
-Use insight about the supporters needs and motivations to inform the development of donor stewardship and engagement strategies and measure supporter experience
-Develop and manage the journeys of high value supporters between different departments
-Promote a culture of putting supporters at the heart and of delivering great supporter experiences
-Evaluate and monitor successes and response rates to asks, pitches and proposals informing and driving strategies for more successful fundraising

Skills and Experience required:
-Experience of developing and implementing successful strategic direction for teams
-Experience of data analysis in prospect research and management
-Experience of insight and data interpretation and reporting
-Experience of staff management including mentoring, performance monitoring via KPIs and applying people policies.
-Extensive experience of using a fundraising CRM database for reporting, analysis and prospect management
-Excellent strategic thinking with an ability to manage and execute long term projects that can drive change
-Able to use innovative techniques or new approach to solve problem effectively
-Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
