Supporter Services Assistant

I'm searching for an experienced Supporter Services Assistant for a three month temporary role with a religious charity based in Wimbledon.
 
Job purpose
Assist the Database Officer with the day to day entry of data on to the Raiser's Edge database
To provide cover while Database Officer is on annual leave
Assist with the busy period leading up to Christmas and in to next year

 
Person specification
Specialist knowledge, skills and experience:
Previous experience of Raiser's Edge while working in a Supporter Services Team
Ability to complete routine tasks efficiently and accurately
Good self-motivation
Ability to work both within a small team and on your own initiative
Strong self-organisation skills
Ability to work under pressure and respond flexibly to multiple tasks and tight deadlines

 
Responsibilities/Tasks
Entering donations, thanking donors and updating records; ensuring the accuracy of data held on the database; and reconciling database with financial records
Assist in responding to telephone, postal, email enquiries from supporters in a prompt, friendly and sensitive manner
Update new contact details, Gift Aid declarations and mail preferences on Raiser's Edge
General database clean-up - (e.g. merge duplicate records, updating addresses and mail preferences)
