Programme Funding Manager

Harris Hill are actively seeking a Programme Fundraising Manager on behalf of an international development charity working to support the poor and disadvantaged in South East Asia.

Based in London this role is responsible for generating income from major trusts and grant giving bodies and for leading on prospect research for restricted funding opportunities.

Key responsibilities
- Lead on applications to a range of major trusts or other grant giving bodies
- Lead on grant reports for restricted funders including statutory, trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships and individuals
- Maintain up-to-the-minute intelligence regarding existing opportunities, supporters, relevant industries and the overall philanthropic landscape
- All communication (written and in person) with existing and potential donors
- Income generation from existing and potential donors with a clear annual income target

Experience and skills
- Proven track record of writing winning proposals and applications from grant giving trusts and foundations
- Demonstrable experience of researching and developing fundraising opportunities
- Knowledge of both institutional and corporate sector and writing institutional bids and corporate partnership briefs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and enhance relationships with internal stakeholders and donors
