Trusts & Grants Officer

Harris Hill are actively seeking a Trusts & Grants Officer on behalf of a disability and community engagement charity. This organisation provide commissioned care and community projects throughout the UK.

Based in London this role sits within a philanthropy and partnerships team and is responsible for managing the charities trusts and grants programme and to grow income in line with the organisations ambitious growth plans.

Key responsibilities
-Manage a portfolio of trusts and grant funders
-To research potential new funders involving liaising directly with them as part of the research and reporting process
-To lead on small trust mailing including coordinating data briefs, writing copy and liaising with external designers
-Be a representative for fundraising and an advocate of the charity with a commitment to developing strong supporter relationships

Experience & skills
-Significant experience of trusts and grants fundraising and successfully generating income
-Strong research skills with the ability to research and identify suitable funders to support the organisations programmes
-Excellent written and oral skills
-Strong relationship building skills with the ability to effectively report back to funders
