Interim Trust Fundraiser

Harris Hill are seeking an Interim Trust Fundraiser to join a specialist residential school and training development centre supporting young people who are severely affected by autism.
Based in Berkshire this role is responsible for the development of all aspects of trust fundraising.

Key responsibilities
- Develop clear, compelling and comprehensive proposals and approaches to grant makers, according to their funding remit.
- Undertake research and work with internal staff to develop proposals and projects for support, including developing budgets
- Support the Head of Trust Fundraising with communications and reports to ensure that existing and new relationships with donors are maintained
- Record information to ensure that all grants are correctly managed, correspondence with grant makers is timetabled and recorded

Experience & skills
- A proven track record of income generation from grant giving trusts & foundations and statutory sources
- Ability to write compelling proposals with excellent research skills
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Self-motivated, highly organised with the ability to work alone and as a member of a small team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to engage and enhance relationships with new and existing donors
