Special Events Director

Harris Hill are pleased to be working alongside an international conservation charity, based in London, who are seeking a Special Events Director on a full time basis.

Key responsibilities will include:
Working alongside the CEO in delivering the special events and PR program
Supervising budgets up to the sum of £500k and assuming responsibility for targets surpassing £1m
Network and actively seek new fundraising opportunities
A senior position which will include line managing the events team
Day-to-day administration in the form of ensuring co-ordination amongst staff and supporting them to meet deadlines.
Managing the HR process within Special Events; recruitment, inductions, training, appraisals, exit and disciplinary procedures.
Devise strategies with CEO and senior management to reach goals
Business development, working to increase revenue.
Fundraising to achieve 6 figure sum targets

Skills and Experience Required:
Candidates from a wide background of experience in non-profit and profit business.
Fundraising and financial management experience in organisations of similar scale
Evidence of securing 6 figure sums in donation and sponsorship
Previous experience building relationships with HNWI's
