Philanthropy Officer

Our agency is working a leading humanitarian aid charity, based in London, to fill the full time position of Philanthropy Officer. The post holder will primarily focus on supporting the team to realise their annual targets.


Key responsibilities will include:

Providing support to the philanthropy team in their fundraising plans, nurturing and expanding the current programme.

Supervise a portfolio of major donors and prospects, establishing and refining cultivation and plans for stewardship.

Provide a support system for the Philanthropy team by researching and creating briefs, reports and proposals.

Preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

As part of the philanthropy team, assist in following through the organisation of small to mid-sized events for donors and donor visits.


In order to apply you should meet the following criteria:

Evidence of a track record in soliciting and negotiating to cultivate income or funding.

Proven ability and experience in meeting income based targets.

Experience of preparing detailed proposals, reports, briefs and presentations.

Solid time management skills, capability to manage and prioritise.

High quality interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Strong communication skills, written and verbal

A good understanding of the market and trends
