Community Fundraising Manager

One of UK's leading cancer research charities is looking for a dynamic and proactive Community Fundraising Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be required to manage the portfolio of community events and all supporter led community fundraising activities.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop a vision for the Community Fundraising programme

With the Head of Fundraising develop a 3 year strategy

Identify new community fundraising opportunities

In agreement with the Head of Fundraising set the community fundraising budget

Report on performance against budget and reforecast quarterly

Manage the Senior Community Fundraising Officer

Ensure the supporter journey is adhered to.

Work collaboratively with other fundraising teams to maximise opportunities



Essential Criteria

A solid track record in community fundraising (3-4 years ideally)

Experience of managing budgets

Experience of developing and implementing community fundraising plans

Line management experience would be desired

Essential to have experience of managing volunteers
