Direct Marketing Manager (Direct Debits)

A leading charity operating in the health sector is seeking a Direct Marketing Manager to manage, plan, develop and implement a programme of direct marketing fundraising campaigns in order to increase unrestricted net voluntary income by recruiting and retaining individual direct debit donors

You will develop the skills and capabilities within the Direct Marketing Direct Debit team to ensure that the charity has best in class fundraising and support staff, delivering income growth and quality supporter engagement and are thus poised to identify opportunities for growth

To be responsible for achieving/exceeding agreed income from individual donors through regular giving acquisition and retention activity. (Face to face, Door to Door, Direct Mail, telemarketing/mobile, email, Text to get conversion (DRTV, OOH etc) and any other relevant channel)

You will have the following skills and experience:
- In Direct marketing acquisition and retention (i.e. Direct Mail, telemarketing, Face to Face, Door to Door lotteries, raffles, Text to get conversion etc.)
- Proactive working knowledge of relationship management databases
- Experience of monitoring and setting budgets in a direct marketing context, with demonstrable delivery of successful income targets
- Significant personal experience of working with and actively managing a range of agencies to support the creation and delivery of mass marketing campaigns
- Proven track record of delivering and evaluating results
- Line management, including staff development, coaching and performance management
