Senior Individual Giving Officer

An international charity in London, urgently seek an Senior Individual Giving Officer ASAP until mid November.
The most important thing is to have someone who has enough experience and confidence to 'hit the ground running', get stuck in and ensure that the programme is kept on track over the period.  It's quite a varied, fast paced role so would be great for someone who enjoys working in that kind of environment and might suit someone who has worked in charities previously but is looking for experience in international development, for example.  They are also happy to consider people with solid direct marketing experience who are looking to make the move to not-for-profit.
£32k per annum equivalent (approx. £17.50 ph)

Job description
Project managing campaigns to regular giving donors - including upgrade and reactivation across a range of channels (mail, phone, email + sms)
Managing data selections, reporting on on-going campaign results, evaluating final results and making recommendations for future activity
Supporting project management on development of new donation asks and products for the RG file
Managing budgets for campaigns - reforecasting both income and expenditure as appropriate
Identifying opportunities for new ways to engage supporters - planning, executing and evaluating test results
Producing high quality creative with agencies to engage and motivate supporters
Managing supplier relationships with our external agencies including phone, SMS and creative
Working with internal colleagues across the organisation on cross organisational projects
Person Specification
Successful track record of working in a direct marketing role / team (ideally within a charity), including experience of planning, managing and executing multi-faceted campaigns
Day to day supplier management experience
Project management experience, including identifying opportunities and managing projects from start through implementation to evaluation
Experience in monitoring, evaluating and analysing complex campaigns against a range of key performance indicators
Ability to work flexibly and independently, to manage varying competing priorities and meet strict deadlines with often changing priorities
Excellent written and numeracy skills with attention to detail and the ability to use spreadsheets to formulate and analyse complex and substantial budgets and make informed decisions
A good understanding of legislation related to direct marketing/data protection
