Campaigns Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arose within a small national health/medical charity in London, Project Managing one of their national campaigns to raise awareness of their given cause and to deliver in their engagement and income targets.
 
Duties will include:
To lead the campaign across the charity ensuring all elements are delivered in an integrated and coordinated way To ensure the project is planned with clear objectives to meet the strategic intent of the charity and that measurables are built in to the heart of it To co-deliver a new fundraising campaign to be launched, working with the fundraising team To produce such digital and print materials which meet the awareness raising and engagement objectives of the campaign To ensure that the teams across the charity develop and produce their materials in line with the plan To deliver the campaign project evaluation, bringing together the results across the various team's activities and including recommendations for the future Project planning our campaign partnership work.
 
Specific tasks:
 
Engaging and liaising with external agencies and suppliers as required, monitoring their performance on the project and ensuring that they deliver to plan
Writing the brief for and managing the delivery of the engagement materials for the campaign on behalf of the Comms team, ensuring that we have strong and interactive new digital content
Planning and organising meetings and producing project documentation
Working with the fundraising team to deliver a new fundraising product which raises income for the charity in year one and engages the priority audiences, based on our knowledge and insight
Managing the communication of our new awareness raising menu of options and producing any necessary materials to support this, ensure that the orders for these materials are fulfilled in a manageable and resource efficient way
Being proactive in finding new ways to deliver against the engagement objectives of the campaign, bringing new suggestions and ideas to the table
Manage the Comms elements of the campaign budget and oversee the recording of all project expenditure
Develop a good understanding of the supporter CRM database (Raiser's Edge), follow best practice procedures for recording data, and input data accurately and efficiently. Add/amend and create records on Raiser's Edge
Working with our partner charities, agreeing requirements and leading in the delivery of the partnership materials, including developing the microsite
Working to achieve the stated objectives of the campaign.
 
Experience:
Proven experience in leading multi-dimensional cross organisation communication projects Experience of managing digital content, good understanding of the principles of developing engaging content, extensive experience of running social media campaigns


Good drafting skills in order to be able to write good, clear emails, produce notes of meetings and write reports


Experience of working with a range of communication agencies


Experience of delivering fundraising campaigns, good understanding of the needs and motivations of fundraisers
