Fundraising Exec

An arts based charity in London have an exciting opening for an experienced Fundraising Assistant/Exec level candidate, to join them ASAP for 3 months within their Individual and Major giving team.
 
MAIN DUTIES
Contribute towards financial targets for Regular Giving, by providing a high standard of stewardship for existing donors, sending renewal letters and identifying opportunities to increase income
Assist in planning and delivering successful campaigns around the 2017 Christmas Challenge (Nov/Dec) and an  Appeal (Dec/Jan), by identifying prospects, maximising opportunities around any related press and marketing activity and building communications and stewardship plans for supporters
Work closely with Marketing and Finance departments, and other third parties to promote and administer campaigns and supporter schemes
Coordinate mailings for Friends and Patrons, including liaising with contributors, maintaining schedules, and communicating with the Marketing and Communications department on production and distribution.  
Assist the Head of Individual Giving to deliver a programme of customer care for major donors and potential donors. This will include a range of administrative tasks, including drafting personalised thank you letters, coordinating invites and tickets, briefings for meetings and research  
Assist with administrative tasks around the Capital Campaign as required
Ensure proficient use of our Database in inputting of gifts and updating individual activities, making accurate records of all correspondence between donors and staff and volunteers
Keep supporters' listings updated in print and online ensuring that we fulfil donor crediting requests.
 
Skills:
Proven experience of fundraising from individuals through regular or major giving
Demonstrable experience on coordinating and delivering fundraising appeals and/or campaigns  
Experience and understanding of membership schemes and of HMRC and Gift Aid regulations
Experience of using a fundraising database to best effect, ideally Raiser's Edge
A clear and confident communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills  
An ability to build relationships with people with different expectations  
A team player with a collaborative and generous approach  
The ability to work under pressure and to multiple deadlines  
Excellent administration, attention to detail, and organisational skills  
Ability and willingness to work outside of normal office hours when required.
