Finance & IT Assistant

Harris Hill Finance is working with a leading UK charity for medical professionals to assist them in securing an interim Finance Assistant in their London Head Office & reporting into the Finance and IT Manager. You will be tasked with supporting the Finance and IT Manager and Management Accountant to manage the finance department. You will be also supporting others in the organisation by providing accurate donation/income information and trend.  
Key responsibilities:
Recording donations and daily bank receipts onto database
Maintaining up-to-dated donors' information on database
Banking cheques and vouchers received
Preparing correspondent letters to donors and other stake holders
Preparing Gift Aid claims and performing Gift Aid audit
Processing Bank transfers on Sage
Assisting with purchase orders
Managing petty cash
Ad Hoc tasks depending on the Fund's needs
