Financial Bid Coordinator

Are you a qualified accountant? Do you have experience in leading on DFID Bi-lateral tenders? This international NGO is seeking an Interim Financial Bid Coordinator for a period of 3 months.

The role is a fixed term position (3 months, with a potential extension) with a remit to lead the co-ordination of commercial proposals in response to a number of DFID Bi-lateral tenders.

The key duties for this role include:

Utilising internal budget tools, to review and ensure that country programme budget propositions are of a high quality, accurate and complete.
Working with operations to ensure that activity costs, and support cost allocations are reasonable and cost efficient.
Ensuring costs are aligned and consistent across between the country programme and external partner.
Ensuring the country programme and external partner have a detailed cost narrative to accompany their budgets, taking the lead on drafting as required.

The key experience required for this role includes:

Significant experience preparing and reviewing multi-county budget proposals for DFID commercial tenders
Experience in the not for profit and development sector
Experience in multi-currency budgeting, reporting and accounting
Professionally Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or other)
