Transactional Finance Manager

Harris Hill are working with an established charity based in the heart of London who are seeking a Transactional Finance Manager to manage the transactional services of their finance department.

In this role you will be tasked with overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash processing along with line managing a small team of Finance Officers.

Key duties include:

Accountable for the efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable, cash book, expenses and procurement card transactions.
Accountable for the management of the AP and AR ledgers.
Accountable for the production of journals.
Accountable for the month-end close process for accounts payable and receivable and cashbooks.
Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations for identified accounts to support month-end accounting.
Responsibility for credit control.
Reporting to the Director of Finance in monitoring cash flow actuals and forecast, investments, income and payments.
Responsible for management of banking facilities including online access to bank accounts.
Responsible for managing the Finance Officer team.

Key experience required:

Part or Qualified Accountant.
Advanced IT Skills.
Experience of managing staff.
Experience of operating medium volume finance processes, ideally within a charity or not for profit organisation.
