I am currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to ensure the effective delivery of an exciting yearly motor rally event for a major charity!
This part time role (7 - 14 hours a week) would suit a project management professional who can ensure that all workstreams of the project are delivered on time, within budget and in line with the project objectives. You will need to be a pro-active self-starter, who is adept in juggling multiple tasks, as well as an exceptional communicator, to keep all stakeholders engaged and up to date on progress. The level of success that the project achieves will have a direct effect on the levels of both income raised, and the volume of new supporters attracted.
Your main duties will be to:
Provide overall management of the rally, within a robust project management framework
Ensure all key stakeholders are kept engaged and updated, including the board, senior staff, the project sponsor and other members of the delivery group
Produce, in consultation with key stakeholders, the overall project documentation, including budget, critical path, risk assessment, and RACI chart
Organise and manage regular project meetings and informal catch up
Manage the Board of Directors, producing updates and minutes
Ensure terms of contracts are adhered to and that activities take place within the framework
Establish the workstreams needed for the project, working with the Project Sponsor to resource effectively and secure buy-in
Manage information flow/consultation with all staff and Trustees
Manage income generation activities, and ensure income potential is maximised
Support recruitment of, and manage the Event Production company to deliver the Rally ensuring a joined-up approach with clarity of roles and responsibilities and shared timescales
Working with the production company, ensure the event is effectively resourced, managed and produced to an exceptional standard and manage other suppliers as required
If you are an experienced of project management within a recognised project management framework, have proven relationship management skills with committee/boards and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and engage them in successful project delivery this is the role for you!
