Database and Donor care Co-ordinator

A global charity based in West London are seeking a Database and Donor care Co-ordinator. The successful candidate will be working in the Fundraising Team for the Major Partnerships Executive, the Database and Donor Care Co-ordinator will help to manage our new CRM system, ThankQ. They will undertake key tasks such as importing data into ThankQ, Gift Aid, cleaning data, processing data, reporting income and thanking our donors. The candidate will also assist with data selections for the fundraising communications. An exciting opportunity to gain knowledge about GDPR as the candidate will be working closely with the manager on implementation across the wider fundraising team and charity.
Key responsibilities
Take ownership of donation processing and recording income on ThankQ on a daily basis.
Run regular supporter and financial reports to help fundraising staff monitor progress against targets.
Provide other data services and support to fundraising colleagues, such as reporting before and after marketing activities, events, providing mailing lists for supporter information packs, acknowledgement letters and other supporter communications.
Record and process gift aid claims.
Assist in the overall development of ThankQ, for example implementing the use of new modules such as the Events and Major Donor module.
Contribute to database policies and procedures.
Data cleaning, to ensure that all information is up to date on ThankQ
Ensure all donations are thanked in accordance with our policies and procedures.


In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:
Working on a CRM system
Working with volunteers or in a customer service environment
Setting-up and maintaining as necessary effective recording and reporting mechanisms
Analysing the requirements of database users, to identify possible courses of action with their strengths and weaknesses, to recommend solutions
Building rapport, trust and inspiring confidence with a wide array of donors, with particular reference to major donors, senior corporate supporters and high level volunteers
