HR Manager

I am working on behalf of an inspiring charity who aim to provide support for those who live with epilepsy. We are looking to place their new HR Manager at their head office in Surrey. The new manager will respond to the Chief Executive at the Charity and will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the organisation.
 
Main Duties:
Lead the recruitment process
Support and coach line managers and other staff members
Manage and coordinate on ER issues such as disciplinary, grievance and absence
Review HR policies and staff handbook
Provide a monthly report based on agreed KPIs
Provide staff with appropriate means of personal and professional development
Liase with senior staff members to maintain the smooth running of the organisation

 
Key Criteria:
CIPD qualified or an equivalent qualification
Experience in Business Partnering or working alongside senior management
A proven track record of working on ER cases
Ability to create a staff handbook that abides by HR policy
Experience of working in a non-profit environment (desired but not essential)

 
* Please note that in addition to the above skill set, you must be comfortable working in an environment where patients often have disabilities and health issues. We are therefore seeking candidates with great personable and people management skills.
