Candidate Services - Payment InformationHarris Hill runs a weekly payroll. - To enable Harris Hill to process your wages a signed timesheet is required no later than 10.30am Monday morning following the week you work. Late timesheets will not be processed until the following week.
- Your wages are paid direct into your bank account via BACS. To enable payment to be made the following information is required:
- Bank Details including, sort code - account number - account holder name. Please download a BACS form
- National Insurance Number - to apply for your N.I. number call 0845-9154431 or log on to www.dss.gov.uk (your booking may be terminated if you do not produce a national insurance number).
- A P45 which should be requested from your previous employer. (Harris Hill will need parts 2 & 3) you must retain part (1) for your own records.
- If you do not provide a P45 you will need to complete a P46.
- Failure to provide either a P45 or P46 will mean you will be placed on a BR tax code. Details of Tax Allowances and NI contributions can be found on www.hmrc.gov.uk
- Full Time Students outside of term time may sign a P38
- Payment is made every Friday one week in arrears of working.
- Your payslip will be posted to your home address. Should your details change please make sure you inform your account manager at Harris Hill.

The Harris Hill holiday year runs from 1st January to 31st December. Time accrued in this period must be taken as holiday within this period - holiday entitlement cannot be carried over into the next holiday year and no payment in lieu can be made. When you have accrued holiday entitlement and you wish to take holiday it is important that you agree the time off with your line manager and notify Harris Hill in writing of the dates. SSP & SMPWithin the qualifying criteria you may be eligible for statutory payments. Please go to www.dwp.gov.uk further information. Stakeholder PensionThe Government has introduced arrangements for Stakeholder Pensions to encourage more people to save for their retirement. They offer a low cost, flexible and secure option for people who have not previously had a good range of pension options available to them. Harris Hill has designated Norwich Union as its Stakeholder Pension provider and has therefore satisfied its legal obligation to provide temporary employees with access to an approved Stakeholder Pension Plan.
