Current opportunities

Why join us?

We currently have some exceptional opportunities to join our growing family, and there are plenty of reasons why working here is so rewarding.

First and foremost there's the knowledge that everything you're doing is directly helping to save lives. While we're a growing organisation, we're lucky enough to have retained a small charity feel in that everyone pitches in to support each other, everyone's contribution matters, and whatever your role you'll be able to see the impact you're making, day in and day out.

As a result there's a very positive atmosphere within the charity, with everyone working for the same aim, knowing that everything you do makes a real difference to someone in need, and sharing the real sense of fulfilment that comes with every success and every life saved.

We're also the kind of organisation where ideas are welcomed and we're flexible enough to put them into practice: everyone plays a vital part in delivering our services so  what you bring to the role and the organisation will be both recognised and valued.

Our nimble size also means we can move quickly to embrace innovation such as new initiatives in fundraising, and pioneering, state-of-the-art medical care.

Working with us

We've recently moved into two new purpose built bases which provide a spacious and modern working environment for our staff, as well as to deliver our services - but there are many other positives too.

Covering a clearly defined area means that supporters in our region see us clearly as their air ambulance, so our fundraising approaches are generally well-received, whether it's in person, by mail or social media.

You'll also benefit from our new structure which allows the charity to diversify its income by investing in new initiatives to expand our work, thereby helping to save even more lives.

Additional benefits for our people include:

• Free parking at both sites

• A 37-hour week, with a 4:30pm finish on Fridays

• 25 days’ annual leave (plus Bank Holidays) rising to a maximum of 28 with length of service

• Pension scheme with 6% employer contributions

• Critical Illness Cover

• Death in Service Cover

• Income Protection Cover

• Occupational Sick Pay
