Belton has worked with Harris Hill since 2017 and describes his approach as follows:

Recruiting business support and IT personnel for charity and not-for-profit organisations is my speciality, supporting professionals in their development and aiming to make the recruiting process as seamless as possible.

I get to talk to interesting people all day and I love it…no two days are same. The third sector attracts some amazing people who genuinely care about a cause/purpose, and I'm grateful to work with such inspirational people.

What matters to me is getting the job done. It’s less about throwing mud against the wall and hoping something sticks, I'm more about quality. I'm still ‘old school’: on average I like to spend 60 minutes with my candidates so I know we have the best prospects before we send them out to interview.

I also feel lucky to work in an environment that values my independence, and you'll notice this too when working with us - candidates and clients often tell us they appreciate our responsiveness and transparency.

You will always know where you stand in our hiring process: if I have no news, I will at least communicate that I have no news. When it’s time for honest feedback, I will give it. My colleagues and I deliver a top-notch experience, whether or not you’re hired.

If I’m not recruiting I’m probably spending family time with my two children, hanging out with my wife and friends. I’m into martial arts, travel, snowboarding, playing guitar and recently I’ve been doing my best to learn how to appreciate fine wines.
