Associate of Operations and Insight

Job description

I am currently looking for an Interim Associate of Operations and Insight for one of the world's most highly regarded museums and one of the most popular visitor attractions in the UK.
As Associate Head, you will work with the Head of Advancement Operations and other senior stakeholders to deliver strategies and systems that will underpin significant growth in income from all sources, as well as initiate and implement change and best practice to support the Museum's exciting plans and aspirations.
Main duties:
Data Insights and Reporting
Oversee and manage all data analysis functions and processes within the Department.
Develop, implement and produce regular and reactive reporting including monthly, quarterly and annual key performance indicators for Development Executive team, reconciled financial reports and prospect/lead reports.
Lead on the data support for Museum events, overseeing and optimising the management of invitation lists, guest segmentation, and post-event analysis
Lead and develop prospect pipeline management reporting

Gift Administration
Lead on and manage all gift processing (direct debits, pledges, cheques, cash, Just Giving etc.), ensuring processes result in accurate and time efficient capture of data
Develop and implement data coding strategy to enable streamlined reporting, forecasting and financial reconciliation

CRM / Development Database
Lead on the development of the CRM database processes (currently Raiser's Edge) to provide effective insight and administration of data.
Lead on and develop processes, guidance, training and support for Raiser's Edge users to ensure accurate data entry and efficient usage
Manage the relationship between all Development data and databases (including systems within Development and other Museum databases), including the strategy for integration, conversion, data-sharing and cross-platform reporting.

Competences:
Excellent analytical skills including advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) and ideally use of reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports etc.), including at least basic modelling, forecasting and business planning.
Strong experience and knowledge of using a CRM database (Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or other) for data analysis/reporting, process management, payment and personal data administration, direct marketing and relationship management.
Demonstrable experience of identifying and implementing processes to improve and optimise the use of data and database/s efficiently, developing the skills and abilities of database users and stakeholders to improve productivity, performance and efficient reporting.
