Job description

Harris Hill is working with a fantastic Children's charity to find a Audit Readiness Officer to join their team. The role is for 2 months. Duties will include:

Profile

Understanding of operations and programmes
Finance background
Some donor experience
Well organised and methodical, able to meet tight deadlines

Key responsibilities

Organise the electronic and hard copy filing of all supporting documentation ready for the preparation of the audit file; a rigorous reference system will be applied
Exercise second line quality control of documents collected (must verify that key translations are done, document is relevant to the transactions/project)

Establish and communicate internal schedules (including changes) for the collection of supporting documentation required by the audit. This will involve several schedules
Implement a reference system as discussed with International audit lead staff. This is a critical aspect of the audit preparation and inspection to avoid confusion, delay and financial disallowances

Key skills

Up to date DBS
Experience dealing with Multi-Currency
Experienced using Excel
Experience with ECHO
