Development Officer

Job description

An exciting position has arisen to join a Development team supporting two top London Independent Day Schools for girls. The Development Officer will play an important role in supporting the Development Manager and help build relationships with past and present parents. The role will also work closely with the Marketing and Communications team and includes prospect research, maintenance and implementation of current fundraising activity, event planning and management of the CRM database.

Key responsibilities will include:
-Building relationships with current parents and staff across both school
-Provide support at donor thanking, fundraising, parent and corporate support events
-Research potential new donors and fundraising streams and manage pipelines
-Administration and coordination of the Annual Funds at both schools
-Manage Gift Aid applications and record individual donor and recognition details

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
-Proven experience of fundraising in either the Charity or Education sector
-Solid database administration knowledge and experience
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Previous experience of event organisation would be ideal
-Dynamic and highly organised with the ability to think creatively
