Event Fundraising Officer
Job description
Harris Hill are excited to be working with a loved Children's charity to find an Event's Fundraising Officer. You will be looking after challenge events within the team, ensuring income targets are reached and participants are supported.
Key Responsibilities
Promote Events by ensuring that agreed activity based plans and income targets are achieved whilst maintaining expenditure and timescales.
Manage a number of challenge events in the portfolio, implementing and executing the strategic plan
Actively develop new and existing relationships with Events donors and supporters thorugh supporter journeys
Influence supporters and participants to work towards their fundraising goals, and to continue supporting the charity
Co-ordinate day to day support of participants in all Events to ensure a high level of supporter and participant satisfaction, as well as providing first class supporter care from start to finish
Support the identification of growth and income opportunities
To be considered you must have the following skills and experience:
Experience of working within a fundraising / event organising / sales environment, demonstrating a track record of maintaining, growing existing and new business and educated to degree level
Experience working with supporters and stewarding them
Be able to work to and delver financial targets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
IT skills Word, Raiser's Edge Database, Excel
Previous Project co-ordination experience
