Financial Controller

Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is based in Berkshire, and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance department as well as having responsibility for producing all external financial reporting.

Please note, hybrid working is in place at this organisation (3 days in the office and 2 from home).

As Financial Controller you will:
- Be responsible for the finance team
- Prepare all year-end statutory accounts
- Produce monthly management accounts, cash forecasts and any external reporting requirements
- Assist the Head of Corporate Services where required

The successful applicant will:
- Have significant experience within finance and in a similar role within the charity sector
- Be a fully qualified and accredited accountant (ACA, ACMA/CIMA, ACCA)
- Have knowledge of Charity SORP and sector relevant accounting processes
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
