Job description

I am delighted to be working with a fantastic charity based in the heart of Cheshire.

This is a brilliant role for someone who wants to learn about grants, but who has charity experience and experience in a very involved administrative role. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Managing diaries on a day-to-day basis: arranging meetings, co-ordinating diaries.
• Arranging travel and accommodation.
• Providing support to potential applicants with the online application process.
• Maintaining contacts on Salesforce.
• Assisting with desktop research about charities.
• Taking minutes at Small Grants Panels, Team meetings.
• Representing the organisation at charity functions where required.
• Booking training/places at third sector events.
• Researching organisations for Christmas grants programme.
• Contributing to the design and implementation of new admin processes.
• Supporting the Engagement Manager and Communications Assistant to organise charity visit dates.

The role will be working 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with some flexibility required on or around the lead up to evening events and the impending office relocation where weekend work may be required. There will be an occasional requirement to travel (1-2 trips per year of a maximum of two weeks in duration).
