Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a family support charity to recruit a Head of Fundraising, Marketing and Events.  This newly created position will develop and implement strategies to enhance online presence and awareness of the charity's mission, to give children the best possible start in life. In this role, you will aim to increase volunteer numbers and unrestricted income, so the charity are able to organise more fun and engaging events and reach more families.

 This charity offers a wide range of services to assist families during early childhood, in order Such services include a Baby Bank, perinatal peer support groups, mental health support for both mums and dads and early education support.

 As Head of Marketing, Fundraising and Events you will play a pivotal part in this mission so we’re looking for a passionate and dedicated individual with marketing expertise to shape this new senior role. This involves not only the development and execution of digital marketing strategies but also leading a small, dedicated team to strengthen our outreach efforts.

While the charity has a strong record of securing grant and contract income, the aim moving forward will be on generating more unrestricted fundraised income and developing greater support from our local communities, including recruiting more volunteers.

Some key responsibilities will include;

  • Creating and implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies

  • Building, managing and inspiring a small team of marketing and fundraising professionals

  • Developing engaging and compelling content across online platforms to promote our services and recruit volunteers.

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure unrestricted income and in-kind support for our services.

  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with individual donors, sponsors, and supporters

  • Planning and coordinating fundraising campaigns and activities including challenge and sponsorship events.

  • Planning and organising a series of regular family events and regular volunteer recruitment events
