I am thrilled to be working on a fantastic opportunity to lead a well-known, established charity’s communications team as Head of Internal and External Communications, based in London, with regular travel to Burghfield, near Reading.

This is a newly created and pivotal leadership role within the charity as internal and external communications is critical to the organisation’s strategic success, staff and volunteer engagement, as well as making it a great place to work.

The ideal candidate:

A proactive and inspiring leader who has a track record of leading large, high-performing communications teams in the charity or commercial sector, ideally including internal and external communications.

Previous experience:

• Track record of leading large, high-performing communications teams in the charity or commercial sector, ideally including internal and external communications
• Track record of proactively using communications to deliver on key strategic objectives, overcome organisational challenges and create a positive culture for staff and volunteers
• Experience of managing a large number of communications projects across multiple teams within a complex organisation. Experience of managing large organisations.

Based in London 2-3 days a week, and travel to Reading will be expensed to Burghfield, near Reading, 2-3 days a week.

Salary reflective of the seniority of the post £68,124- £77,821 plus generous pension scheme.
