A fantastic Surrey-based independent school is currently in search of a Major Donor and Corporate Partnerships Manager to join them for a 12 month FTC, and Harris Hill are delighted to be assisting them with their search. This role is perfect for a fundraising professional looking to use their skills to work towards an ambitious team target in an exciting and unique educational environment.

In this school, where admission is based on talent, passion and potential rather than the ability to pay fees, around 90% of the children require some kind of financial support – the work that you do here will go towards supporting these incredibly talented young people to excel.

In this role, you will utilise your fundraising experience and strong relationship building skills to expand the school’s existing major donor and membership portfolio, both by drawing in new support and re-engaging dormant supporters. Major Donor/Philanthropy experience is essential, and a familiarity or knowledge of corporate partnerships fundraising is highly advantageous. You will work as part of a small but close knit team to work towards the target of £1.1 million over the next 12 months – you will need to be a team player, but also someone who works well in a role with an emphasis on autonomy and initiative. This is a unique opportunity in the world of education and development fundraising – the school is set in a beautiful location, with a warm, friendly and informal community where every child is encouraged and supported to excel to the best of their abilities. This experimental role is a 12 month contract initially, but if the target is successfully reached then there could be scope to make it a permanent position.

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 p.a.

Location: Cobham, Surrey – on-site attendance is required at least 2 days per week, ideally more (and initially 3 days while getting to know the role and the team).

Contract: 12 month FTC (with possibility to extend, depending on the success of the programme).
