Major Gifts Stewardship Coordinator

Job description

Harris Hill are thrilled to be working with this major international development charity, assisting them in their search for a Major Gifts Stewardship Coordinator on a 9 month contract (providing sabbatical cover). This is a perfect opportunity for someone passionate about or looking to get into a career in fundraising.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of donors (giving or with the potential to give at the £10,000-50,000 level)
- Work as part of an ambitious and dynamic team of 10 to maximise income for the organisation and deliver the Major Gifts team annual plan for 2023.
- Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, reports, updates, thank you letters and handwritten cards to donors
- Work alongside and, where appropriate, support the Major Gifts manager and Major Gifts Partnership Manager in building relationships with donors giving over £100,000.

A great candidate should ideally:
- Have experience of charity fundraising, particularly working with major donor funds over £5000.
- Be able to build and sustain great working relationships with donors through excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Have a great eye for detail, with the ability to prioritise effectively, and communicate fluently, persuasively and articulately.
- Have a passion for international development and humanitarian work.

Location: London, hybrid working with 1-2 days in the head office in London required.

Salary: £33,077
