Job description
Harris Hill are thrilled to be working in partnership with a charity that does life-changing work supporting families who have a seriously ill child. They are looking to recruit a Philanthropy Manager who can help build up their major donor portfolio, with some Trust Fundraising too.
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey - 3 to 4 days a week
Salary: £45,000
The Philanthropy Manager will proactively lead the cultivation and stewardship of potential and existing major donors, trusts and statutory bodies, with a particular focus on driving significant income growth in the major donor space.
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Engagement, the Philanthropy Manager will drive the growth of a portfolio of existing supporters and new prospects giving at the five and six figure gift level, with a particular focus on generating major gifts from new donors.
This role will be line managing 3 fundraisers.
Experience:
Track record of securing five or six figure funding from Major Donors ideally or Trusts and statutory sources to achieve challenging income targets.
Delivering a prospect research programme and effective prospect management
Line management experience to build a collaborative and high performing team
