Who we are

Christian Aid exists to create a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty. For more than 80 years, we’ve stood alongside people of every faith and none, working together to build a world rooted in dignity, equality and justice.

We are a global movement of people, churches and local organisations who believe in hope and in the power of community. We’re the changemakers, the peacemakers, the mighty of heart — united in a shared commitment to challenge poverty and transform lives.

Christian Aid is proud to be a diverse, welcoming and inclusive place to work. We recognise the strength that comes from different perspectives and life experiences, and we celebrate the creativity that flourishes when teams truly reflect the communities we serve.

You don’t need to be Christian to work here — we warmly welcome people of all faiths and none. We simply ask that everyone lives out our values of equality, dignity, justice and love.

We value balance and wellbeing, too. That’s why we offer flexible and part-time working, hybrid options for office-based colleagues, and the opportunity to work from home for many of our roles.

Together, we’re building a fairer world — and we’d love you to be part of it.

Working in charity finance however, is – baffling spreadsheets aside – a rather different story, but with their finger on the pulse and their ear to the ground at all times (we should really get them some chairs), our finance specialists are perfectly placed to bring you up to speed on the latest twists and turns. Here’s what they had to say about remuneration and recruitment trends in the current market, in our 2025 Salary Survey .
