Senior Direct Marketing Officer (Acquisition)
Job description
A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Direct Marketing officer (Acquisition) for an international charity based in London in order to contribute to the development and delivery of an exciting supporter acquisition programme and develop a new case for support across digital channels.

Key responsibilities: 
 
Engagement of new and warm audiences across multiple direct marketing channels including 
digital (such as paid social, PPC, lead generation), direct mail, telemarketing, email, internal 
communications and any other relevant channels 
Develop and deliver campaigns which leverage a new case for support to raise unrestricted 
funds, including testing new messaging on digital channels 
Ensure that the charity s communication with supporters is creative, surprising and innovative, 
continually testing and learning for the greatest return 
Contribute to the strategic development of the acquisition programme across digital channels 
as well as plan, deliver and manage all aspects of specific digital marketing campaigns 
Track, analyse and report on results from assigned direct marketing campaigns, be 
accountable for ensuring that they deliver against agreed budget and targets and deliver end 
of campaign presentations 
Agency management including creative, digital, telemarketing and media agencies 
Refinement of and acquisition to, the existing regular giving product with exploration of new 
channels 
Adhere to best practice across compliance for data protection such as GDPR and ensure all 
activity meets fundraising and data protection regulations 
Manage the improvement and development of supporter welcome journeys including mail, 
email and telemarketing. Maintain content so they are accurate and up to date and monitor 
calls for quality 
Run and manage emergency fundraising campaigns across digital channels for the Acquisition team as needed, including out of hours cover. 
 
Person specification: 
 
Significant experience in a direct fundraising or marketing role 
Substantial experience managing direct marketing campaigns to drive income 
Experience of project management across multiple stakeholders and multiple acquisition campaigns 
Experience of managing relationships with external agencies and suppliers 
Experience of setting up and managing digital marketing campaigns (e.g. Facebook Ad manager/GoogleAds) 
Skills: 
Excellent communicator used to working with stakeholders at all levels 
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines 
Highly numerate with excellent IT skills including Microsoft suite
