Are you a proactive, tech-savvy administrator who loves turning data into insight, improving systems and keeping things running smoothly? Looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity where your skills can make a real difference?
We’re recruiting a Business Administrator on a temporary, part-time basis to support a community-focused organisation making a positive difference to children and families.
This is an immediate start, varied role combining business administration, data analysis, grant reporting and systems improvement, offering the chance to use your skills in a role with real purpose.
What you’ll be doing

Keep operations running smoothly: Provide day-to-day administrative support and improve internal systems, processes and procedures.

Turn data into insight: Collect, maintain and analyse data, producing clear reports, dashboards and summaries to support decision-making and demonstrate impact.

Support funding success: Prepare grant monitoring and evaluation reports, track deadlines and outcomes, and gather evidence to showcase the organisation’s work.

Make IT work smarter: Maintain databases, spreadsheets and digital systems, helping improve data management and ways of working.

Coordinate safer recruitment: Support volunteer applications, maintain records, obtain references and process DBS checks.

Maintain high standards: Assist with compliance, governance, GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
What you’ll bring

Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Experience in data collection, analysis and reporting.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication.

The ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to identify improvements.
Experience in the charity, voluntary or community sector, grant reporting, monitoring and evaluation, or case management systems. Knowledge of GDPR and data protection is also desirable.
