Director of Education & External Affairs

Harris Hill is supporting Wellbeing of Women to find their Director of Education & External Affairs. This is an opportunity to put your communications expertise at the heart of a charity that is changing the future of women’s health.

We’re looking for a strategic, creative and hands-on communications leader to join Wellbeing of Women’s Senior Management Team and lead its Education and External Affairs teams.

You’ll shape and deliver an ambitious multi-channel communications, campaigns, marketing and external affairs strategy — raising the charity’s profile, influencing public debate and engaging the audiences and stakeholders who matter most. From high-profile campaigns and media relations to brand, marketing and internal communications, you’ll be equally comfortable setting the direction and getting stuck into the delivery.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll also work closely with fundraising and teams across the organisation, ensuring communications are ‘fundraising-first’, integrated, impactful and always connected to the charity’s goals.

Your experience:

We’re looking for someone with experience of integrating communications activity across different functions including fundraising, campaigning and service delivery, and a strong track record engaging multiple audiences including the media, politicians and policymakers, supporters, donors and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also have a good understand of health campaigning and policy activity across England and Wales.

If you’re a brilliant communicator, an inspiring team leader and someone who likes to make things happen, this could be your next big move.

  • Salary £65,000
  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Hybrid working between London Bridge office (minimum 2 days per week) and remote working
  • Attractive benefits package including private health care, employee discount scheme and cycle to work scheme

Interested? We’d love to hear from you.

Closing date: 9am Monday 28 th September, however please apply early to receive the full job pack.
