Harris Hill is proud to be supporting Mary Dinah Foundation, an ambitious and growing international development organisation, in their search for a Director of Strategic Partnerships & Growth.

Mary Dinah Foundation delivers vital humanitarian and development programmes across vulnerable and conflict-affected communities, particularly in Africa. Their work focuses on tackling malnutrition, improving access to healthcare, providing emergency food relief and clean water, and protecting women and children.

This is an exciting opportunity to become the first permanent appointment of its kind, working closely with the CEO to build on an established network of relationships and develop significant corporate and institutional partnerships.

The Role

  • Develop and implement a strategic partnerships and growth strategy.
  • Build on relationships already established by the CEO, converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.
  • Secure and develop high-value corporate and institutional partnerships.
  • Identify new business development and funding opportunities across the international development sector.
  • Create compelling partnership proposals and strategic collaborations.
  • Develop relationships with corporations, institutional donors, foundations and international organisations.
  • Represent the Foundation at external meetings, networking events and conferences.
  • Work closely with the CEO to drive sustainable income growth and expand the organisation's impact.

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates with significant experience in corporate partnerships, institutional fundraising or strategic business development, ideally within international development or the humanitarian sector.

You'll bring:

  • A strong track record of securing significant corporate or institutional partnerships.
  • Excellent relationship management, networking and negotiation skills.
  • Experience cultivating senior-level relationships and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a strategic approach to income generation.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the confidence to shape a new function.
  • A genuine passion for international development and creating sustainable impact.

Location & Flexibility

This is a remote-based opportunity, open to candidates in the UK, New York or Switzerland, with occasional travel to London required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Mary Dinah Foundation at an exciting stage of growth, take ownership of its strategic partnerships function and play a key role in shaping its future.

Closing date: Monday 9th November 2026.
