Harris Hill are delighted to be partnering with a leading charity to recruit a Fundraising Executive (Community) for a maternity cover contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and ambitious fundraising team, helping to inspire and engage the next generation of supporters. Based in Stanmore with hybrid working, you'll play a key role in growing community fundraising activity, building relationships with young professionals, families and community networks, while supporting the charity's mission to help people with neurodevelopmental disabilities, their families, and children in need across London and the South East.
The role
- You'll take the lead on developing and delivering next generation and community fundraising activity, building a pipeline of new supporters through events, networking opportunities, seasonal appeals and peer-to-peer fundraising.
- This is a varied, relationship-led role where you'll represent the charity within the community, recruit and steward supporters and volunteers, and work closely with colleagues across fundraising, events, marketing and data to deliver engaging campaigns and excellent supporter experiences.
About you
They're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in fundraising, community engagement, relationship management or business development.
- Is a confident relationship builder who enjoys networking and meeting new people.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is proactive, personable and motivated by achieving targets.
- Enjoys working collaboratively and managing a varied workload.
- Ideally has experience using a fundraising CRM and delivering fundraising events or campaigns.
