Harris Hill is thrilled to be partnering with a fantastic charity that supports disadvantaged children and families across London in their search for a Fundraising Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your fundraising experience to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children and families.
As Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for developing relationships and generating income from charitable trusts, statutory sources and individuals. You will develop an in-depth knowledge of the strategic objectives, projects and activities to source suitable funding to sustain and develop this work. You will research, develop and produce a range of bids to charitable trusts and foundations and occasionally to local authorities, government departments and other appropriate organisations. You will work with the fundraising team to develop the donor stewardship programme for new and existing supporters. You will also develop positive long-term relationships with individuals through writing thank you letters, emails etc.
To be successful, you will need or need to be:
- Proven track record of personally securing grants of £10,000+ from charitable trusts.
- Experience of researching and identifying suitable charitable trusts to support new and existing projects.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to produce compelling and persuasive communications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues and supporters.
Salary:£40,000 - £45,000
Permanent, Full-time (part-time considered)
Location: London with hybrid working
