Harris Hill are delighted to be partnering with Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF), the UK’s leading patient charity for people affected by pulmonary fibrosis, to recruit a Healthcare Professional Education and Engagement Manager.
Salary:
£34,000 – £37,500 per annum
Location:
Hybrid role, with attendance at the charity’s Peterborough office for team meetings, collaboration and other key activities, typically on a quarterly basis, alongside travel to meetings, events and partner sites as required.
You will build relationships with clinicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals, develop a national programme of education and engagement, and help turn clinical insight and lived experience into practical resources and opportunities for collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals across the UK.
- Build APF’s healthcare professional network and create opportunities for collaboration and shared learning.
- Develop and coordinate a programme of healthcare professional education, including events, webinars, digital learning and practical resources.
- Identify the needs of different professional audiences and tailor education and engagement accordingly.
- Support healthcare professional involvement in OneVoiceILD and APF’s wider work to improve diagnosis, care pathways and outcomes.
- Work with clinical experts, colleagues and people with lived experience to ensure education is evidence-based, relevant and accessible.
- Capture insight, feedback and engagement data to evaluate and improve activity.
- Work collaboratively across APF and with professional bodies, charities and other external partners.
- Represent APF at relevant meetings, events and conferences.
About you
You will have experience of working with healthcare professionals, clinical stakeholders or professional audiences, alongside strong relationship-building and project coordination skills.
We are looking for:
- Experience developing, coordinating or improving programmes, projects or new areas of work.
- Experience planning or delivering education, training or professional engagement activity.
- An understanding of the UK healthcare environment, ideally including the NHS and relevant care pathways.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- The ability to translate complex clinical or technical information into clear, accessible content.
- Experience using data, feedback or CRM systems to track activity and support improvement.
- A collaborative, proactive approach with sound judgement.
- Confidence using digital tools, databases and CRM systems.
