Harris Hill are delighted to be recruiting for an Individual Giving Executive in order to join a collaborative Individual Giving team and support the delivery of engaging, insight led fundraising campaigns that recruit, retain and develop supporters.
The role offers a varied opportunity to gain experience across multiple Individual Giving programmes, including cause led fundraising, gaming, in memory giving and legacy. You will work across a range of online and offline channels, including direct mail, paid and organic social media, email, SMS, private sites and telemarketing.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Creating, planning, delivering and evaluating multi-channel fundraising campaigns designed to achieve income and supporter engagement targets.
- Supporting acquisition activity through digital marketing, paid social advertising and private sites.
- Delivering supporter development and retention activity through direct mail, email, SMS and telemarketing.
- Reviewing and improving supporter journeys and stewardship activity to increase supporter engagement and lifetime value.
- Managing campaigns effectively, ensuring activity is delivered to agreed timelines, budgets, audience requirements and brand guidelines.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams including Marketing and Communications, Supporter Care, Data, Research and Finance.
- Managing relationships with external agencies and suppliers to ensure successful campaign delivery.
- Monitoring campaign performance and KPIs, providing clear updates, analysis and recommendations to improve future activity.
- Accurately recording, processing and reconciling expenditure to ensure effective budget management and value for money.
- Ensuring campaigns comply with relevant fundraising, marketing and data protection requirements, including the Code of Fundraising Practice, GDPR, ASA guidance and relevant Gambling Commission requirements.
- Supporting colleagues across the Individual Giving team with campaign delivery, proofreading, ideation and other project work.
You will ideally have:
- Experience of planning, project managing or supporting the delivery of marketing or fundraising activity and evaluating results.
- An understanding of direct marketing approaches used to recruit, retain and develop supporters.
- Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to create engaging and emotive content for different audiences and channels.
- Experience managing relationships with suppliers or external agencies.
- An understanding of supporter databases and audience segmentation.
- Knowledge of data protection and marketing compliance requirements.
- An understanding of testing, validation and using campaign results to inform future activity.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, particularly when reporting on campaign results.
- Good IT skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and identify opportunities to improve ways of working.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum
- Contract type: Permanent, full time
- Location: London, hybrid working, 3 days a week in the office.
