We're recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognised organisation for an enthusiastic Internal Communications Officer to join a busy and collaborative communications team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating engaging content that keeps colleagues informed, connected and inspired.
You'll play a key role in delivering internal communications across a variety of channels while working with stakeholders from across the organisation to support employee engagement and organisational priorities.
What you'll be doing
- Create engaging content for intranet pages, newsletters, staff updates and internal campaigns.
- Support senior leadership communications and organisation-wide announcements.
- Manage and maintain intranet content, ensuring information is accurate, relevant and up to date.
- Build strong relationships with teams across the organisation to gather stories and promote key initiatives.
- Support the delivery of staff events, briefings, workshops and engagement activities.
- Monitor internal communication channels and respond to enquiries professionally.
- Gather colleague feedback and help shape improvements to internal communications.
What we're looking for
- Experience in internal communications, employee engagement or a similar communications role.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Confidence creating engaging content for digital communication channels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using intranet or content management systems would be advantageous.
