Procurement Services Manager

I am excited to be working with a large UK higher education institution, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Services Manager to support procurement activities across multiple departments. This role will provide expert guidance on procurement processes, manage tendering exercises, and ensure compliance with UK public sector procurement regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver a professional procurement service to internal stakeholders.

Manage tendering processes, supplier evaluations, and contract awards.

Prepare procurement documentation including specifications and frameworks.

Draft and manage contracts and terms and conditions.

Monitor supplier performance and conduct contract reviews.

Analyse procurement and spend data to support decision making.

Ensure compliance with relevant policies including data protection requirements.
Requirements

Degree or equivalent experience in procurement or a related field.

Experience managing procurement processes, ideally in the public sector.

Knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and tendering procedures.

Experience preparing tender documentation and supporting contract drafting.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
Additional Information
The role may require occasional travel between sites. Candidates should be able to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
